Reed Rao

Reed Rao possesses extensive experience in quality and product management within the automotive lighting sector. Currently serving as a Product Manager at Lumileds since April 2015, Reed is responsible for the Automotive OEM Lamps portfolio, focusing on delivering business results. Previous roles at Lumileds include Value Stream Manager, overseeing a $20 million business unit, and Industrial Quality Manager, where Reed established a new quality organization for an automotive lamp factory. Prior to Lumileds, Reed held positions at Philips Lighting and Flex, contributing to quality management and product transfers in automotive lamp manufacturing. Reed's educational background includes an Executive MBA from the University of Aberdeen and a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Zhejiang University.
