Lucas Freitas

Lucas Freitas is an accomplished geoscience manager with extensive experience in seismic processing and project leadership. Currently serving as Geoscience Manager and Head of the Seismic Processing Center at Lumina Geophysical since June 2022, Lucas has previously held notable positions including Head of Seismic Processing Center and Project Leader at Geoprocesados from September 2013 to May 2022, and Senior Research Geophysicist at Dolphin Geophysical from October 2012 to August 2013. Lucas began academic involvement as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Universidade Estadual de Campinas between May 2009 and December 2010 and contributed as a Trainee from January 2002 to May 2008. Holding a PhD in Computer Graphics Applied to Geophysics and a BSc in Computer Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Lucas combines robust technical expertise with leadership acumen in the geophysics domain.
