Brett Amheiser

Brett Amheiser is a seasoned professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Regional Vice President of Operations at Luminant since December 2006. Throughout a notable career at Luminant, Brett has held various leadership roles, including Complex Director for both the Oak Grove Power Plant & Kosse Mine and the Sandow Power Plant & Three Oaks Mine, as well as Director of Generation for both the Sandow and Big Brown Power Plants. Prior to Luminant, Brett contributed to the Ohio Chamber of Commerce as a board member and also engaged with the Energy & Environmental Committee from April 2018 to December 2022. Earlier experience includes positions at Midwest Generation, Appleton Papers, Willamette Industries, and Air Products and Chemicals. Brett holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Saint Francis University and an Associate Degree in Power Plant Technology from Williamson College of the Trades.
