Michael Volpe

Michael Volpe has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Managing Director at Luminant since February 2017. Prior to this role, Michael worked at Engie from 2008 to February 2017 as Plant Manager and Interim VP, overseeing the Bellingham plant, a 539-MW power facility utilizing two Alstom GT24B2 Gas Turbines. From 1996 to 2008, Michael held various positions at International Power, including Plant Manager and Production Manager at the Milford Plant, which featured a 150MW combined cycle system. Earlier in career, Michael was a Process Plant Operator at Westinghouse, a Firefighter Coordinator Supervisor in the Air National Guard, and a Combat Engineer Officer in the U.S. Marine Corps. Academic credentials include an MBA in Marketing from Bryant University and a BS in Marine Engineering from Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
