Milin Mehta

Milin Mehta is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in public relations and external communications, currently serving as the Head of External Communications (Senior Director) at Luminar Technologies since April 2021. Previously, Milin held the position of Head of PR (Senior Manager) at Cruise from July 2017 to April 2021, where Milin established the external communications team and implemented a successful earned media strategy. Additional roles include Strategic Communications Advisor at Kraken Digital Asset Exchange, Account Director at PressFriendly, Manager of Government Relations at the Application Developers Alliance, and a Public Policy & Communications role at the City of Chicago under Mayor Rahm Emanuel. Milin began a career in communications after graduating with a B.A. in Political Science from DePaul University in 2007, having also worked as a Legal Clerk at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP & Affiliates during college.
