Morten Grunnet

Morten Grunnet, Prof, PhD, DrSci, is the Vice President and Head of Neuroscience at Lundbeck, overseeing pre-clinical biological research with a focus on neuroinflammation, hormonal signaling, protein aggregation, and neuronal biology. Concurrently, Morten serves as an honorary professor at the University of Copenhagen and is the co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Acesion Pharma, a biotech firm dedicated to advancing treatments for atrial fibrillation. Previous roles include leadership positions at NeuroSearch A/S and multiple academic appointments at the University of Copenhagen, where Morten contributed to various research initiatives and managed research teams. Morten obtained a PhD, DrSci from the University of Copenhagen, further solidifying expertise in the biomedical field.
