Sara Helgesson

Sara Helgesson currently serves as a Regional Representative for BRIS Eastern Office, focusing on networking, volunteer engagement, and advancing children's rights. Previously, Sara worked as a Child and Youth Strategist for the Municipality of Skövde, advocating for the Convention on the Rights of the Child and developing initiatives to empower young people's influence in local politics. Sara has diverse experience in educational and hospitality settings, including roles as a substitute teacher and receptionist at various establishments. Sara’s educational background includes a Master of Laws in Human Rights from the University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Rights from Malmö University, complemented by studies in political science at Lund University.
