Aaron Lurth

Aaron Lurth is an Assistant Professor of Art and Visual Communication at Luther College, serving since August 2012, where responsibilities include teaching photography and graphic design classes. Additionally, Aaron holds the position of Director of Visual Media, overseeing the college's marketing photography and videography production, managing approximately 20 student photographers and videographers, and collaborating with the marketing and communications team on strategies. Previous experience includes serving as a Photography Instructor for National Geographic Student Expeditions and the University of Iowa, as well as working as a Web Designer/Developer for Philips Diamond Shop. Aaron also has experience as a Staff Photographer for the Cedar Rapids Kernels. Educational qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts and a Master of Arts, both in Photography and Graphic Design, from the University of Iowa, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Fine/Studio Arts from Luther College.
