Karuna Bhatia

Karuna Bhatia currently serves as the Head of Sustainability for Standard Chartered Bank in India and GBS since March 2012, bringing extensive experience in sustainability and wealth management. Additionally, Bhatia holds positions as a Board Member at L V Prasad Eye Institute since February 2023 and as a Member of the Board for United Way of Mumbai since October 2015. A former Board of Trustees member for Sightsavers from March 2013 to March 2016, Bhatia has a rich background in consumer banking from earlier roles at ANZ and has successfully established the Excel Banking channel at Standard Chartered, significantly increasing its revenue. Bhatia holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune.
