Marco Capone

Marco Capone is a highly experienced Lead Mechanical Designer with a robust career spanning over two decades in the engineering and design sector. Currently at Lycopodium Limited since May 2014, Marco has spearheaded the development of specialized machinery concepts such as the LycoVent ventilator during the Covid-19 pandemic. Prior roles include significant positions at Sinclair Knight Merz (now Jacobs), where Marco contributed to various Rio Tinto Iron Ore Expansion Projects, and at Calibre Global, leading design for major iron ore initiatives. Previous experience also includes designing systems for Fluor Corporation and SKM Sinclair Knight Merz, focusing on conveyor systems and plant upgrades for mining operations. Marco's expertise encompasses multiple facets of mechanical design, project management, and engineering interface support across large-scale mining projects.
