What you’ll do

• Lead design projects across the entire product lifecycle—from initial exploration and definition through to shipping
• Partner with product managers and engineers to make product and design decisions and clearly articulate trade-offs and make strategy come to life
• Collaborate with broader design team to share feedback and elevate overall product quality
• Work closely with insights to identify new opportunities, build and test hypotheses and refine user experience decisions
• Rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes, understanding when deeper exploration is warranted and when it is best to pivot and try another approach.
• As an experienced designer, you will help set the tone for our design team with your work.

Who you are

• 4+ years of experience in a product design role in consumer-focused tech.
• Experience working across the product development lifecycle and successfully shipping products.
• Experience turning complex problems into simple and engaging customer experiences for web and mobile.
• You enjoy working closely with product managers, engineers and other stakeholders. You can synthesize and incorporate their points of view in your work.
• You have a people-focused design mentality and want to craft products and features that truly have meaningful impact.
• Ability to plan, manage, and drive projects from beginning to end.
• Experience with using qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions.
• You are an incredible designer with amazing talent in all aspects of the design work from wireframes and interaction design to visuals and prototyping. You pay attention to the details without losing sight of the bigger picture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills utilising storytelling to help people understand the value of your work.
• You are comfortable facilitating workshops and ideation sessions.
• You have the ability to mentor others to deliver high quality work.
