Atle Simonsen

Atle Simonsen currently serves as the Head of Communications at Lyse, a Norwegian energy and telecommunications company, since March 2022. Prior to this role, Simonsen was the CEO of Universitetsfondet Rogaland from September 2020 to March 2022 and held various positions in governmental roles, including State Secretary at the Norwegian Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Education and Research. Simonsen has also served as a Member of Parliament representing Rogaland for the Progress Party and has held advisory and leadership positions in multiple organizations, including serving as Chair of Stavanger Parkeringsselskap KF and representing Stavanger City Council from 2007 to 2019. Simonsen holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Stavanger.
