Daniel Choi

Daniel Choi is an experienced AV Engineer and business owner with a diverse background in audio-visual technology and engineering. Currently serving as an AV Engineer Level 3 at M.C. Dean, Inc., Daniel has previously owned JDEI since January 2019 and held the position of Senior Audio Visual Engineer at A-TEK, Inc. from September 2017 to June 2024. Daniel's expertise includes designing and programming complex AV systems, including video teleconferencing and audio DSP for various commercial products. As AV Tech Director at Open Door Presbyterian Church, Daniel oversaw audio, visual, and lighting systems for large auditoriums and implemented cutting-edge technologies for church events. Additionally, Daniel has a background in recording engineering, having worked with renowned artists at Wildwood Recording. Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Recording Arts Technology from Middle Tennessee State University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Yeungnam University.
