Valery Lemmens

Valery Lemmens currently serves on the Board of Directors at Maastro since February 2024 and is a Scientific Council member at the International Agency for Research on Cancer, affiliated with the World Health Organization, since February 2023. Additionally, Valery has been a member of the Supervisory Board at Alzheimer Nederland since September 2020 and a Section Editor for Epidemiology & Prevention at the European Journal of Cancer since January 2019. Since October 2011, Valery has held the position of Professor of Cancer Surveillance and Head of the Section Cancer Surveillance at the Department of Public Health at Erasmus MC. Valery was a Board Member at IKNL from December 2019 to December 2023 and previously served as the Head of the Department of Research & Development at IKNL from January 2014 to December 2019. Valery's educational background includes a PhD in Clinical Epidemiology from Erasmus University Rotterdam and an MSc in Epidemiology from the University of Maastricht, complemented by executive education at INSEAD from 2019 to 2020.
