Julia Poenitzsch

Julia Poenitzsch currently serves as Teamlead People & Culture at machtfit GmbH since March 2023. Previously, Julia held the position of Director of Operations at Alma from June 2022 to March 2023, and co-founded peaq, a Web3 network for decentralized applications, operating from May 2020 to September 2022. Additionally, Julia worked as Head of Finance and Human Resources at Advanced Blockchain AG from November 2017 to May 2020, and as a Project Assistant and Intern at Stiftung Zukunft Berlin in late 2017. Earlier experiences include serving as an Education Volunteer at BigHero Center Hai Phong in 2016 and as a Research Support Assistant at the University of Oxford. Julia's academic background includes a Master of Arts in Governance, Leadership, and Democracy Studies from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, a Visiting Student program in Political Theory at the University of Oxford, and a Bachelor of Science in International Business from Maastricht University.
