Abhishek Poddar

Abhishek Poddar currently serves as the India Country Head at Macquarie Group, a position held since June 2023. Prior to this role, Abhishek was the Managing Director and Head of Business Development for South East Asia & India at Macquarie Asset Management from October 2018 to May 2023. Abhishek's career began at A.T. Kearney, where a tenure from May 2000 to September 2018 culminated in the role of Senior Partner. Abhishek has extensive experience across multiple geographies, including India, Australia, Dubai, Germany, Japan, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and Singapore, with specific expertise in industry analysis, business planning, growth strategy, organizational restructuring, and large-scale transformations. Abhishek holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a BSc Hons in Mathematics from St. Stephen's College, Delhi.
