Robin Prenter

Robin Prenter is a seasoned professional in aerospace engineering with extensive experience in product development and thermal engineering. Currently serving as Head of Product Development at MacTaggart Scott since August 2024, Robin previously held prominent roles at Pratt & Whitney from June 2017 to July 2024, including Principal and Senior Aero/Thermal Engineer. An academic background as a Graduate Fellow and Research Associate at The Ohio State University culminated in a Doctor of Philosophy in Aerospace Engineering. Additionally, a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering was obtained from Stellenbosch University, complemented by practical experience as a Student Intern at Rheinmetall Defence.
