Gary Crofton

Gary Crofton is an experienced financial professional with a career spanning several decades in portfolio management and fixed income sales. Currently retired and associated with Mad River Glen since January 2024, Gary previously served as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Appleton Partners from December 2009 to January 2025 and at BNY Mellon from June 2006 to November 2009, specializing in tax-exempt separate accounts and mutual funds. Earlier in the career, Gary held the position of Vice President in Fixed Income Sales at Eastern Bank from May 2003 to June 2006 and served as Vice President at State Street Corporation from 1986 to 2002. Gary earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Lafayette College between 1974 and 1978.
