Steven Miyao

Steven Miyao is the co-founder, CEO, and CTO of Usawa Health, an innovative primary care company that focuses on Black health. Steven is also the head of product development. Prior to Usawa, they were the secretary at MADISON SQUARE BOYS & GIRLS CLUB INC.

Miyao has always been passionate about healthcare and technology. Steven saw the potential for technology to help close the racial disparities in healthcare. Steven developed a platform that allows providers to offer tailored and cost-effective care to Black patients. The platform also includes a patient portal where patients can access their medical records and communicate with their providers.

Usawa has been successful in attracting patients and providers. They have a team of experienced medical, technology, and data science professionals who are committed to providing quality care to Black patients.

Steven Miyao graduated from NYU Stern School of Business in 1996 with a degree in finance and international business.
