Arthur Hayes

Arthur Hayes is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in trading and investment. Currently serving as the Chief Investment Officer at Maelstrom since December 2022, Arthur also co-founded 100x Group in July 2019, where the role of CEO is held. Previously, Arthur was the CEO of BitMEX from January 2014 to October 2020, a leading platform for Bitcoin derivatives trading. Arthur's earlier career includes positions as a Delta One Trader at Citi and a Synthetic Equity Trader at Deutsche Bank, focusing on Asian ETF offerings and market-making. Arthur holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Finance from both the University of Pennsylvania and The Wharton School, supplemented by studies at HKUST Business School.
