Shuangrui Fan

Shuangrui Fan is an experienced professional in quantitative analytics, currently serving as the Head of Quantitative Analytics at Maersk Tankers since September 2017, focusing on trading, chartering, digitalization, risk, and finance. Prior to this role, Shuangrui worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Southern Denmark, contributing to finance and accounting research while lecturing on statistics and entrepreneurship. Additional experience includes roles at United Shipping Consultant Co. Ltd, where Shuangrui served as an external consultant and assistant general manager, and at the Shanghai Shipping Exchange, where responsibilities included analyzing shipping freight rate markets. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Economics from the University of Southern Denmark, along with visiting research positions at Aarhus University and the University of Oslo, and a Master's degree in Logistics and Transport from Chalmers University of Technology.
