Nairouz Shehata

Nairouz Shehata is a research scientist specializing in algorithms and image processing at the Magdi Yacoub Foundation since August 2015, where collaborative work within an inter-disciplinary team focuses on advancing medical imaging tools through deep learning methodologies to enhance understanding of cardiac anatomy and functions. Prior experience includes a role as a software engineer at CrocoBite, where website development was undertaken, and participation in the operations team for the Arab Collegiate Programming Contest, which involved organizing significant programming competitions. Nairouz has also completed internships and training in various IT and data-related roles, contributing to skills in IT operations and data management. Academic achievements include a PhD in Computing and a Master's in Medical Robotics from Imperial College London, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Communication Engineering from Alexandria University.
