Alfred Tarng

Alfred Tarng is a Senior Software Engineer at Magic Leap since January 2022, with a solid background in software engineering spanning over a decade. Prior experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Medivis, where Alfred developed mixed reality visualization tools for surgeons. Earlier positions at Magic Leap involved leading the development of interaction methods for the Helio browser, utilizing Unity and C++ across various software components. Additional roles included software development at Datiphy Inc, Tic Toc Games, WayForward Technologies, and Sony Online Entertainment, with a focus on front-end development, game logic, and UI design. Alfred also has research experience in virtual reality and computer graphics from UCSD.
