Rafat Mohammad

Rafat Mohammad is an experienced professional in the field of engineering, currently serving as the Research Development Supervisor for North America at Magna International since July 2017. Prior to this role, Rafat worked as an Advanced Technologies Lighting Project Engineer at the same company. Previous experience includes serving as a Senior Product Development Lighting Engineer at Grakon from December 2015 to July 2017, and as an Exterior Application Engineer at Flex-N-Gate from July 2012 to December 2015. Rafat began a career in exterior lighting as an Exterior Lighting Engineer at Ford Motor Company, holding this position from July 2005 to June 2012. Earlier experience also includes working as an Application Engineer at ACH Automotive Components Holdings from 2000 to 2005. Rafat holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University, earned between 1988 and 1994.
