Joe Victor

Joseph Victor is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the life sciences and technology sectors. Currently serving as President & CEO and Board Member at RareCyte, Inc. since May 2011, Joseph has also contributed as a Venture Advisor at 5AM Ventures since July 2016. Previous roles include Executive Chairman at Purigen Biosystems, Inc., CEO of Startide Sciences, and President & CEO at DVS Sciences, where Joseph led significant growth and the successful merger with Fluidigm, Inc. Additionally, Joseph held CEO positions at Applied Precision, where the company was sold to GE Healthcare, and earlier leadership roles at Aim Aviation and Fairchild/Rosan. Joseph holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and advanced degrees in engineering from the University of Washington.
