Annika Anchia

Annika Anchia, MBA, currently serves as the Administrative Director of Pharmacotherapy and Research at Mountain Area Health Education Center - MAHEC since November 2023. Annika previously held the position of Executive Director at Brookdale from February 2022 to November 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Operations Manager and Supervisor of Operations at Mission Health over a six-year period, and Client Services Manager at BAYADA Home Health Care, where responsibilities included medication administration and assisting clients with daily activities. Annika's early career involves a variety of positions, including an internship at Second Harvest Food Bank, where community education and SNAP benefits eligibility were promoted, and as Outreach Coordinator for International Appalachian, managing programs for international students. Annika's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration from Western Carolina University and a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies from Appalachian State University.
