Aleksandra Zagorin

Aleksandra Zagorin, DNP, MA, AGPCNP-BC, RN, serves as the Assistant Director of Nursing for the Ambulatory Health Service Network at Maimonides Medical Center since October 2002, while also working as a Gerontology Nurse Practitioner and holding various roles including Wound Care Consultant and Transitional Care Program Coordinator. In addition to clinical roles, Aleksandra contributed to academia as an Associate Professor and Director of Undergraduate Studies at Wagner College from August 2014 to May 2022. Earlier experience includes serving as a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner at Boropark Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center and as a primary care RN at Lutheran Medical Center. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a Master's degree in Geriatric/Adult Primary Care Nurse Practitioner from New York University, a Bachelor's degree from Wagner College, and participation in the Executive Education Women’s Leadership Program at Yale School of Management.
