Maryanne Thornely

Maryanne Thornely has extensive experience in urban and regional planning, currently serving as the Road Access and Planning Manager at Main Roads Western Australia since July 2018. Prior roles include Statutory Road Planning Manager/A and Planning Assessment Coordinator at the same organization, as well as a Planner at the City of Swan. Earlier in the career, Maryanne held planning positions at Brisbane City Council, Central Highlands Regional Council, and Maitland City Council. Additional experience includes serving as Project Manager/Town Planner at Geolyse and Town Planner at Wagga Wagga City Council and Moree Plains Shire Council. Maryanne holds a Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of New England and completed the Transport Portfolio Leadership Program.
