Jack Hanson is an emerging professional with a diverse background in environmental advocacy, tourism research, and investment. Currently serving as a Deal Development Intern at Maine Angels, Jack actively engages in private equity investment processes for early-stage companies across Maine and New England. Previous roles include writing a weekly environmental blog for The Daily Californian, conducting research on invasive species at the Garbelotto Lab, and assisting the Maine Office of Tourism in developing vacation routes. Jack's experience spans various internships and positions, including overseeing a rowing program and providing sailing instruction. Jack holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Economy with a minor in Conservation and Resource Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and previously studied Business Administration at The George Washington University School of Business.
