Sarah Chappell Armentrout

Sarah Chappell Armentrout, of Lyman, is co-founder of Carlisle Academy, specializing in integrated equine therapy and sports. She has been in the field of equine-assisted therapy for 20 years and is a PATH International Advanced Riding Instructor and mentor. Prior to Carlisle Academy, Armentrout was the group team leader of corporate communications at Tom’s of Maine. She joined MaineCF’s York County Committee in 2007 and was chair from 2015-2017. She graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, Conn., with a B.A in religion.
