Katie’s background is in intellectual property within the pharmaceutical sector. She has worked as a biotech patent attorney for over 15 years, representing high profile pharma clients at the UK and European Patent Offices. Katie has a passion for new developments in the health care industry and is very excited to be transferring to the field of medical communications. She has worked across a wide variety of therapy areas and is looking forward to developing her new role as a medical writer with the Makara team.
