Elizabeth Joynes Jordan serves as Co-Legal Director at Make the Road New York since July 2020, after previously holding the role of Deputy Legal Director. From November 2014 to 2020, Elizabeth was the Supervising Attorney for the Workplace Justice Team at Make the Road NY. Prior experience includes positions as Associate Counsel and Skadden Fellow at LatinoJustice PRLDEF from September 2010 to October 2014, where Elizabeth also coordinated the Latinas at Work (LAW) Project. Elizabeth's legal education includes a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law (2010) and a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania (2003), complemented by studies at The London School of Economics and Political Science. Prior to legal practice, Elizabeth worked in various roles, including as a law clerk at the ACLU and as a legal extern at ProDESC.
