In demanding shipbuilding projects, every minute counts. Every part of each project—project management, planning and design, procurement, production, logistics, installation, and supervision—needs to be done properly, and there is no room for mistakes or delays. From these demanding requirements, the core of our team and our operations has been built.

We have been supporting our clients in their cabin and public area projects since 1992. Today we have offices on three continents—Europe, North America, and Asia—locating us close to our clients. Our own in-house furniture and textile production is based in Vanhalinna, Finland.

The Production and Operations team at MAKINEN is responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of shipbuilding projects from start to finish. This includes overseeing furniture production, managing procurement and logistics, and ensuring adherence to sustainability and quality standards. By coordinating project management, planning, and refurbishment efforts, the team ensures timely delivery and high client satisfaction in complex cabin and public area projects.
