Maria Furtado

Maria Furtado is an experienced professional in college counseling and admissions, currently serving as the Associate Director of College Counseling at The Bay School of San Francisco since July 2021. In addition, Maria is a member of the Advisory Board at Willamette University since January 2022. Prior to these roles, Maria was the Executive Director of Colleges that Change Lives from August 2013 to July 2021 and worked as a College Advisor at Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory for the 2020-2021 academic year. Maria's earlier experience includes serving as the Director of Admission at Eckerd College from July 2007 to August 2013 and as the Director of Admissions at Clark University from January 1994 to July 2007. Maria holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Stonehill College, earned between 1979 and 1983.
