Imraan Bashir

Imraan Bashir is a Cyber Security Advisor at ManagingLife. Imraan was previously an Executive Director (Director General) of Cyber Security & Digital Identity at Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat | Secrétariat du Conseil du Trésor du Canada from July 2011 to May 2020. Prior to that, they were a Manager of IT Security at Indian and Northern Affairs Canada from June 2008 to July 2011. Imraan started their career as an IT and security consultant (various roles) at EDS, an HP Company from May 2000 to June 2008.

Imraan Bashir has a Bachelor of Computer Science from Carleton University and is certified in software engineering from (ISC)². Imraan also has a certification in Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
