Stuart Blackwood

Stuart Blackwood is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as Red Team Lead for Mandiant (now part of Google Cloud) in the UKI & EU regions since June 2017, specializing in proactive security assessments and covert attack simulations across cyber, intelligence, and physical domains. With previous roles including Director at Countess Ablaze, Lead Cyber Security Consultant at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence, and Senior Security Consultant at MWR InfoSecurity, Stuart has effectively managed offensive security assessments against critical infrastructure and military platforms. Earlier positions include Security Consultant at NCC Group, Senior ISP-Systems Engineer at TalkTalk Technology, and Senior Support Engineer at Pipex Communications, alongside foundational experience as a Security & Vulnerability Researcher for the UK Government. Stuart holds a BSc (Hons.) in Computer Science with Industrial Experience from The University of Manchester.
