Alec Stuart

Alec Stuart possesses extensive experience in environmental management and corporate governance, currently serving as the Manager of the Property Department at Manitoba Hydro since April 2009. Throughout their career at Manitoba Hydro, Alec has held multiple leadership positions, including Director of Safety, Health and Environment, and Manager of the Corporate Environment Department, where responsibilities included maintaining ISO 14001 registration and managing environmental training. Prior to this, Alec worked for the City of Winnipeg as a Sustainability and Standards Specialist and served as an Environmental Coordinator at Manitoba Intergovernmental Affairs. Alec holds a Master's Degree in City Planning from the University of Manitoba and a B.A. in Urban Studies/Environmental Studies from The University of Winnipeg.
