Peter Beaumont

Peter Beaumont is a seasoned metrology professional currently serving as the Metrology Operations Lead at the Manufacturing Technology Centre since January 2024, overseeing a lab equipped with CMM, portable metrology, and XCT capabilities. With previous experience in advanced metrology at The MTC and as Head of Metrology at PES (UK) Ltd, Peter has over a decade of management experience in delivering high-quality metrology solutions across various sectors, including aerospace, automotive, and defence. Peter holds a Master’s Degree in Operational Research & Performance Management from Aston Business School and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Psychology from the University of Birmingham, complemented by fluency in seven metrology software packages and three CAD packages.
