Kirstin Vanderpark

Kirstin Vanderpark, PhD, currently serves as a Treaty Consultant at Manulife since July 2024. Previously, Kirstin held various roles at Canada Life Reinsurance from February 2018 to June 2024, including Senior Reinsurance Treaty Analyst, Corporate Social Responsibility Lead for Toronto and London, and Global DEI Committee Co-Lead. Additional experience includes freelance work as a Research, Editor, and Communications Consultant from 2016 to December 2020, Sales Supervisor and Head of Client Communications at James Perse from 2016 to 2018, and teaching positions as a Business Writing Instructor at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management and a Lecturer in the Department of English at the University of Toronto from 2011 to 2017. Kirstin also served as Interim Course Coordinator for Critical Writing about Literature at the University of Toronto Scarborough. Educational qualifications include a PhD in English Language and Literature/Letters, an MA in the same field, a Post Graduate Diploma in Social Responsibility & Sustainability, and a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Pittsburgh.
