Peter Lathrop

Peter Lathrop has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Peter began their career as an Associate at Coopers & Lybrand in 1994 and later joined Ernst & Young Global Consulting Services as a Senior Associate Auditor. In 1998, they transitioned to Keyport Life Insurance Co, where they held roles such as Manager of Accounting Financial Reporting and Director of Financial Reporting. In 2002, Peter joined Aviva North America as an AVP of Finance before eventually becoming the VP of Finance & Performance Management. Peter then moved to John Hancock in 2009 and served as an AVP in various finance-related roles, including AVP Finance IT and AVP of US Capital Planning. Most recently, Peter joined Manulife in 2020 as the AVP & Global Finance Transformation Lead.

Peter Lathrop attended SUNY Geneseo from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
