Tom Hayes

Tom Hayes is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the food industry. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Ocean Spray Cranberries since July 2020, Tom also holds the position of Lead Independent Director at both Maple Leaf Foods Inc. and Basic American Foods. Previous leadership roles include Chief Executive Officer and President at Tyson Foods until November 2018, where Tom also served as Chief Commercial Officer and President of Foodservice. Tom's earlier experience includes key positions at Hillshire Brands, US Foodservice, and ConAgra Foods. Educational credentials include a Master’s in Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire.
