Bill has been involved in music and music education through much of his adult life. Prior to moving to Marin in 2011, Bill served on the board of the Music Institute of Chicago from 2003-2009. During his time as Board Chair, Bill was involved in a capital campaign to expand the Music Institute. This included the acquisition of a former North Shore church that was turned into a 500 seat performance hall, with the lower level being turned into acoustically isolated teaching rooms.
