Jamie McCann

Jamie McCann is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the insurance industry. Currently serving as Partnerships Director at Markerstudy Distribution since January 2024, Jamie previously held various leadership roles at BGL Group from July 2007 to January 2025, including Director of Partnerships & Retail Distribution, Capacity & New Propositions, and Data & Analytics. Jamie successfully launched the motor brand 'nutshell' and established BGLi’s Data Analytics function while overseeing regulatory compliance initiatives such as GDPR and IDD implementations. Earlier career positions include roles in pricing and underwriting at Ageas Group, Direct Line Group, and Aviva. Jamie holds a BSc in Statistics from The University of Manchester and a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Liverpool, along with additional education from Cranfield School of Management.
