Shawn Roberts

Shawn Roberts serves as the Commanding Officer at the Joint Communications Support Element since June 2022, overseeing logistics, operations, training, cyber security, and a budget exceeding $56 million for global IT support to military branches and federal agencies. With a naval career spanning from 1994 to the present, Shawn has held various leadership roles, including Field Commander at the Defense Information Systems Agency and Commanding Officer of the Joint Interoperability Test Command. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in History and Political Science from Texas A&M University, a Master's in Computer Science from Old Dominion University, and ongoing studies at the National Defense University.
