Byron Batchelor

Byron Batchelor, MPH, RD, SNS, currently serves as the School and Community Nutrition Programs Training Specialist at the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) since November 2024. Prior to this role, Batchelor was the Senior Programs Coordinator at the Chef Ann Foundation from October 2021 to November 2024 and served as Sr. Research Program Coordinator at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health from December 2019 to March 2021. Batchelor's experience also includes positions as a Graduate Research Assistant at The Lerner Center for Public Health Promotion and as Child Nutrition Manager and Child Nutrition Specialist at BakerRipley. Educationally, Batchelor earned a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (2018-2019) and a Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and Food Science emphasizing Dietetics from Georgia Southern University (2011-2015).
