Ruth Boyd

Ruth Boyd currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the EdD program in Educational Leadership and Organizational Innovation at Marymount University, a position held since August 2021. Prior to this role, Ruth Boyd was the Vice President for Student Affairs at Southwestern Oklahoma State University from May 2015 to October 2021 and served as the Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Education at the same institution from 2004 to 2015. Ruth Boyd's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Administration, Curriculum, and Supervision from the University of Oklahoma and an MBA/BS in Business Administration and Elementary Education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Ruth Boyd began a career in education as a classroom teacher for 3rd grade at Weatherford Public Schools from August 1991 to July 2004.
