Rebecca Ruiz

Rebecca Ruiz is a senior reporter at Mashable. Rebecca previously served as a Rosalynn Carter Mental Health Journalism Fellow with The Carter Center, a reporter for NBC News, and a special reports project director for The American Prospect. Rebecca also spent time as a team leader for New York Cares, a volunteer organization. Rebecca's focus has always been on stories that highlight important issues and they are known for their dedication to their work.

Rebecca Ruiz graduated from Sarah Lawrence College with a B.A. in journalism. Rebecca then went on to complete their M.J. at the University of California, Berkeley. Rebecca also participated in an honors program at Seattle University.
