Lauren Chandler is an experienced educational professional, currently serving as an Assistant Principal at Mastery Charter Pickett campus since 2014, following their tenure as a 10th-grade geometry, Social Emotional Learning, and 9th-grade chemistry teacher at Gratz Mastery Charter High School from 2013 to 2014. Previous teaching experience includes working with grades 3-8 in English, 7th-grade science, 8th-grade math, and Physical Education on Ailuk atoll with WorldTeach from 2012 to 2013. Lauren has held positions at Nordstrom as a Sales Associate, at Agape Community Center as an Administrative Assistant and Program Coordinator, and served as a Scribe at ScribeAmerica, assisting emergency room doctors. Further experience includes a role as a Resident Advisor at Emory University and as a Research Assistant for The NIA Project, Inc. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Emory University and a Master of Education in Mathematics from Chestnut Hill College.
