Lewis Shuler

Lewis has a passion for material innovation and advanced manufacturing. For most of the past 15 years he has been living in China and leading textile innovation and sustainability initiatives for the world’s largest sportswear and fast fashion brands. Aside from roles at Under Armour, Gap, and Stance, he has consulted for over 50 apparel and footwear brands around the world. Today his research is focused on microfiber mitigation, textile recycling, and low impact technologies for textile and garment manufacturing. He supports academia, NGO’s, and industry groups as an SME on textiles, and regularly presents on sustainable innovation at conferences around the US, Europe, and Asia.
