Jinya Liu

Jinya Liu currently serves as a Process Engineer at Materion Corporation since July 2022. Previously, Jinya Liu worked in R&D at H.C. Starck from September 2017 to June 2022, focusing on metallographic analysis, additive manufacturing, material development, and metal/powder processing. An academic background includes a role as a Research Assistant at UMass Dartmouth (September 2012 - January 2017), where Jinya Liu developed methods for measuring RF MEMS surfaces and performed multiphysics structural analysis. Earlier experience includes a Teaching Assistant position at UMass Dartmouth from September 2010 to May 2012, instructing undergraduate courses in advanced machine design and material science, and a Mechanical Design Engineer role at Inductotherm Industries (Shanghai) LTD (August 2006 - July 2007) and at NORINDAR International (August 2001 - August 2006), focusing on product localization, system design, and engineering services. Jinya Liu holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and a Bachelor of Engineering in Thermal Engineering and Power Machine from Northeastern University (CN).
